SECRET No.2: Men Are Scared Of Emotions. Men are far more sensitive than you may think they are. They just have a harder time showing it. They've been brought up to hide their emotions from an early age and 'act tough'.This can make it hard for them to connect with a woman on an emotional level.

Have you ever had your guy NOT want to argue?
Have you got so frustrated because he won't talk?
Did he just go quiet or worse still walk out of the room?


Men have a hard time understanding and dealing with their emotions, let alone those of their partner so when you start on a topic that has a strong emotional basis he's in new territory. Suddenly he'll feel out of control and this is a SCARY place for a guy to be.

So if he's ever come out with the 'Why do you have to be so DRAMATIC?' phrase (which is of course so frustrating), this is when you're on dangerous ground, going nowhere and often simply at risk of having him feel pressured and running scared or out the door!


So, how can it be different? If you can try and understand what's going on for him and show him how to express himself in a way that works for both of you you'll be on the right path. Take the emotional LEAD with your man and show him you're a woman he won't want to let go of!

"Dr. Fiore," the voice on the phone pleaded, "I need anger management classes right away.I blew up at my girlfriend last night and she said it's over until I get help."
